The first one was rounder than usual and covered with chocolate coloured freckles.
The third artistic egg was done in a patchwork design. It looked cracked but was sturdy and hard.
The last egg is the hands down (or should I say wings down) winner in individuality.
The shell was not completely finished and a tube-like structure protruded from the end.
The whitish area you see had a rubbery feel to it.
The next day the white tube had been sucked into the egg and all you saw was a rubbery indent in the one end. Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of it. :(
Joan,
ReplyDeleteI just came here while following a puzzling trail. Has anyone else commented on your egg photo turning up as the link image for a weird diet advert on Facebook? See The mysterious superfruit.
Best.

DeleteYes somebody mentioned it before but I thought it was spam. I have never seen the ad. Why on earth would they use my egg? Just weird.
ReplyDeleteLol I was so curious!!! Weird things ppl do
Deletethe picture is everywhere!!!
ReplyDeleteI've just followed a similar puzzling trail because your egg pictures are now being used to advertise health insurance on Facebook!
ReplyDeleteMe too, I´m from Spain and I was wondering what was the relation between a weird egg and weigth loss pills advertising.
ReplyDeletelol i googled "weird egg" after seeing that pic on a website for weight loss lol
ReplyDeleteI've seen this pic on random sites, you really made this picture? And what did you do with it or did it hatched eventually?
ReplyDeleteThe picture is being used is the one you posted on this forum:

It keeps showing up in ads for me that have the headline, "Eat THIS, Never Diet Again!" and "Dr. OZ: "The Holy Grail of Weight Loss" below it.
They really ought to be cutting you a check, though as they're probably a fly-by-night outfit, I wouldn't hold my breath.
What happened to the egg? Didit hatch? .
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a rooster so none of my eggs could hatch. They were only for eating.
DeleteIt is STILL out there! I also followed the trail after seeing it as an ad again and again on Skype. I was grossed out because I didn't recognize it as an egg. Now that I have found the source I can rest. Thank you, Joan.
ReplyDeleteIts now part of the clickbait franchise ;)
ReplyDeleteI came across it and it's advertised as endorsed by Dr. Oz http://imgur.com/Oe4IVjk

ReplyDeleteWow this blog is old! Just been linked from Reddit
